This Momma Wears Charlie

Have you ever seen a piece of clothing on a mannequin that looked so nice and imagined how amazing you would look in it, only to find they hung loose or clung too tight in all the wrong places as soon as you threw it on? Especially after you give birth, every inch and pound seem to fall in places on your body that they never bothered before. This has been my mini-frustration ever since I became a mom & the reason why it's such a relief to find a shop that has the right sizes, wearable designs and surprisingly affordable prices for really good quality that I love, love, love - Wear Charlie!

I have been seeing posts by some local celebrities, though only in passing, about the clothing line of Wear Charlie for more than a year now. It wasn't until recently when I got the chance to try them out for myself and found clothes that were neither outrageous in design nor too generic for my age (somewhere in my 20s...let's leave it at that. LOL). Even as a mom, I know it's easy to exchange any sense of personal style for comfort (read: running around after tots in mini skirts is downright tricky), but the clothes in Wear Charlie are both just that - comfy but stylish. The pieces could easily be mixed & matched so that's a plus because it means you don't have to buy a lot - just a few could take you a long way, so that's friendly on the budget. The biggest surprise for me was, the materials used & quality of workmanship on the clothes are so good you'd easily assume they tagged it with the high-end boutique prices...but most of the merchandise they carry are really cheap that you can even get a chic top for less than P500!

and Prospect top with navy stipes (stretch fabric, racer back)
What's even more pleasing is that aside from visiting their show room, you can now shop via their website, so that's a huge plus for me since I'm mostly stuck at home on momma-duties, ergo my addiction to online shopping. Technology has yet again made it easier for me to splurge. It's so easy to browse the catalog online because all the necessary info can be found at one glance - the sizes that a clothing piece fits, the material, available colors, and the number of pieces they currently have in stock. I only found 1 downside to purchasing via the website - they don't accept CODs (like what I usually choose when I shop from other sites).

Wear Charlie
Needless to say, the most praise-worthy aspect of Wear Charlie is having globally competent quality that can be availed by our middle class; after all, style doesn't have to be only for the rich & famous. And the biggest hitch? It's genuinely Pinoy, to boot!

Wear Charlie also caters to customizing clothes for you by request, and you may simply contact them via their website.

*Note: This is NOT a paid endorsement. This entry intends only to express the personal opinions of the blogger regarding the product. I had also previously written that Wear Charlie has a shop in SM North EDSA - allow me to correct the information, this is different (the one in the mall is simply CHARLIE.) Kindly accept my apologies for the confusion.
