The Burger Project

Monday, January 21, 2013

Teacher's Village in Q.C. sure has a lot of hole-in-the-wall-ish, quaint, yummy restos around. This week, we finally tried out that much talked about burger joint -- The Burger Project. And my oh my, they have instantly won a mental award from me for the best beef burger patty I've tasted locally. Ever.

Located along Maginhawa St., this place had always been jam packed every time we passed it. Why? Because of the tempting opportunity to create your own perfect burger, with all the works thrown in! The concept is pretty simple: choose all the components of your burger from a wide array of choices for favorites - from the buns, patty, cheese, toppings, sauce & sides. How else can you go wrong? If your creative juices are on R&R though, you can also choose from their hit designer burgers.

For my first try, I went for sesame buns, angus beef patty, bacon, caramelized onions, mozzarella & barbecue sauce (below, left), served with chili cheese fries. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. The huge patty was super juicy & tasty, paired with oozing mozzarella cheese with smoky goodness from the bacon & the sweetness of the onions & sauce. Flynn ordered double beef patties, bleu cheese, topped with crispy onion rings & wasabi mayo (below, right). The verdict? A++++!

The have recently added branches in Taft & Jupiter St. in Makati. Go on, head over to The Burger Project & let your burger imagination run wild!

PS: As for Joaquin, we all just can't wait for him to start getting sloppy on 'em solid foods so he can join in on the fun!☺
