Eastwood Mall Stays Mommy-Friendly

...especially to breastfeeding moms. If you've read my previous posts, I've mentioned quite a few times how I advocate breastfeeding, so it's a pretty big deal to me that I can go out, unwind with friends & family, but still be able to tag my baby boy along with me while not worrying about how I can nurse him in public places. So I'm more than pleased that there's such an establishment like Eastwood Mall that takes the expanded breastfeeding act seriously.

The Expanded Breastfeeding Act of 2009 specifies (sec. 11) how all health & non-health establishments should provide adequate nursing stations with complete & necessary facilities in line with promoting breastfeeding. In Eastwood Mall, I'm happy to share that they have not disappointed me in the several times I've used their nursing room. It's accessible during mall hours, and is always clean without any funny odors or strong-smelling disinfectants, dim but sufficient lighting and good air conditioning with each instance I've frequented it.
Upon entering, there's a diaper changing area and an extra seating where an extra companion can use. There are 2 mini-sofas for mom & baby, that can be partitioned with drapes and this doubles as a cover if you want even more privacy.

Kudos to Eastwood Mall's management for keeping up the quality of this particular service. You guys make it easy-breezy for breastfeeding moms like me. Because of this, you're one of my family's official favorite go-to's! :)
